Why GCSurf?
Why not? I have been working for Tony since I was 15. GCSurf has provided me with the knowledge and experience to be a surfing journalist.
I have interviewed and written feature articles on some of the world best female surfers and I am so grateful to be given the opportunity to write about their life, their surfing and their pathway to success.
GCSurf is a great magazine for locals to read up on new and enduring talent and it is an awesome foundation to promote and recognise the faces that make up our Aussie surf industry.
Aspirations: Continue with print media. Continue working with Quiksilver and develop a media department with in Quiksilver/Roxy. Travel with the WCT women’s tour; presenting and writing about the girls and events. AND. One day play a major role in the largest distributor of a women’s surf, snow and skate lifestyle magazine.
Experience outside GCSurf?
I have done work expereince with at Surfing Life Magazine, been a contributing writer for ‘Curl’ surf snow and skate womens magazine, writer and Reporter for the Australian University Games newspaper and I am currently doing the athlete media kits for Quiksilver and Roxy.
Favourite surfing moment: My favourite surfing moment would be when my brothers, my father and family friends were the only ones out surfing six foot, Wilkes, in Fiji. So awesome!
