Why GCSurf?
Gold Coast Surf Mag is a locally based and has its roots in the local surfing community. As a locally based magazine it focuses on local up and coming surfers and then updating the local community with their success stories.
Aspirations: My aspirations are to one day travel the globe as a professional contest photographer.
Experience outside of GCSurf?
I have been a freelance photographer for seven years, with a surf and skate background. My images have appeared in all local news papers and in surf mags like Tracks,Waves and Surfing life. I have also provided images for brochures and surfing ads.
Your favorite surfing moments: Surfing Lower Trestles in California at solid 8+.
Taking off on a wide one at Snapper and bottom turning into a 10ft wall, then riding it all the way to Greenmount Beach, with my legs like jelly and then running back to the Point to paddle out and do it again. (Christmas 02 swell)
